Recently, Flitwick Scout Group have taken part in a six- week challenge, Race Around the World. The aim was to raise money for those Scout Groups across the country hardest hit by the pandemic.
Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Explorers and leaders nationally raised funds by walking, running, cycling and learning about other cultures. Via sponsorship and donations, £250,000 was raised across the UK all going towards the Scout Groups who need it most.
Flitwick’s Ruxox and Joey's troops managed to collect £544 working both individually, and together on a winter hike, when they racked up over 30 miles between them.
